let me dance and be myself
Mabelle moved into Gleeber's Club. She had on a short skirt, with a fairly tight top. She preferred to go to Apple in the Night but there was always the problem of the fake id, and she never really met anyone knew there except for some drunk people. At least here they didn't serve alcohol to underage kids, though she might be able to make them.
Her blonde hair rolled down her back as she walked through the room. She flashed a smile to a few people, and not one of those ones fake ones, one like she actually meaned it. Her body swayed back and forth to the music that was blaring, but she didn't start dancing yet, she just sort of stood on the side and see who she knew and who else she could meet.

I'm waking up at the start of the end of the world, but its feeling just like every other morning before, now I wonder what my life is going to mean if it's gone
The sound of music hit Bailey's ears before she even made it inside Gleeber's. This appealed to her, however, for blasting her eardrums out was one of her favorite hobbies. She smoothed her tank top and looked around to see if anyone she knew was present. Well, of course not. Her luck was pitiful, and the odds of her finding the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow were limitless. She sighed and pulled on her skirt, anxious that she was showing a bit too much. But she was daring, and she had decided to wear it out of pure risk. She then leaned against the wall and let her eyes scan the place.
Before long a slightly familiar-looking girl caught her sight. Bailey had never spoke to her before, but maybe she'd seen her once or twice around school or something. She did look as if she were younger than Bails. Oh, well. Maybe I could go and say hello. This place is a dump without someone to talk to anyway. With that thought, she weaved her way around the dancing crowd, making sure not to ruin anyone's moves. Once she was in an audible distance from the girl, she yelled, "Hey!" over the music and stepped closer. "You look familiar. Who are you, again?" Well, if that didn't sound awkward, she didn't know what would, but it was something.

Mabelle was swaying back and forth itching to start dancing. Her eyes weren't focused on anything just letting them take in the images of the people and the different colored lights. Her ears caught a sound and her eyes followed. They had stopped on a girl, around the same and height, though they really didn't look alike at all. You look familiar. Who are you, again? she was fairly blunt but Mabelle didn't mind. I'm Mabelle.
Her eyes looked around then focused on the girl again. She looked familiar too. Do you go to the high school near here? That was wear people around their age spent most of their time. Not by choice of course. Though that was how they knew so many other people. School was such a strange thing.

the cars are moving at a half a mile an hour and I started staring at the passengers waving goodbye can you tell me what was ever really special about me all this time?
'I'm Mabelle.' With a short nod, Bailey stole a glance at the ceiling in a vain attempt to match the name with the face. Mabelle, Mabelle, Mabelle...gotcha! Bails offered a smile, glad to see that she wasn't the preppy type of girl. "Well, I'm Bailey." She knew her name was off the charts when it came to average, but she sort of liked it. Being unique had its perks.'Do you go to the high school near here?'Sadly. Nodding again, Bailey replied, "Yeah, I do, actually. That must be why you look so familiar...I'm a senior. You don't look much younger, actually." Stating the obvious was one of her best motives, and apparently she was doing a great job. She tilted her head to watch Mabelle while swinging her hips a little to the current song, which was Untouched by the Veronicas. What a classic!
She sung along quietly as she let her gaze drift from Mabelle to a cute boy looking her way. Usually she wasn't much of a flirt, but tonight she was feeling a bit...oh, what's the word...woosy? She put on a crooked smirk and blew him a kiss, and then rested her head on her shoulder while looking at him. He, of course, returned it and turned back to the bar where he was sitting. Laughing, Bailey turned back to her new friend and watched her.

Mabelle nodded her head as the girl said her name, Bailey. She would remember that, she could remember names easily for some reason. Then she went on to talk about school. You know that thing that every kid has to go to but hates? The reason for all the misery in a teen's life? Yeah, you know what I am talking about. Yeah, I do, actually. That must be why you look so familiar...I'm a senior. You don't look much younger, actually. Mabelle nodded again and said, Junior. I probably pass you in the hall.
It was quiet between them for a little while before another song came on. This time it was Soulja Boy by the one and only Soulja Boy. What was it with these songs? Some people just loved them when others hated them. Mabelle smiled as she heard the song, she was one of those people who liked this song. "You know this song right? Let's go." she said to Bailey taking a step toward the dance floor. Of course a song like this just had to have a dance to go with it.
